Honey produced by beekeepers in Western Canada is processed and packaged at plants in Winnipeg, MB and Spruce Grove, AB. Bee Maid not only produces premium honey but also operates retail outlets in Spruce Grove, Winnipeg, and Tisdale.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

:

Manitoba Cooperative Honey Producers

is hiring a full-time, permanent

Plant Cleaner/Sanitization Associate

to join our team. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Plant Cleaner is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the packing area, packing equipment, and warehouse area to meet HACCP/SQF and Food Safety requirements.

Hours of work are Sunday 7:30am to 4:00pm and Monday to Thursday 12:00pm to 8:30pm.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

:

Clean and maintain packing area, equipment, and warehouse to meet food safety standards (HACCP/SQF) Sweep and wash floors and mats throughout the facility Wash pails, tools, waste containers, trolleys, indoor windows, and walls Remove garbage and recyclables to designated areas Maintain cleaning inventory and complete documentation for SQF requirements Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

:

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Grade 12 High School Diploma or equivalent 1-3 years' experience in a production or manufacturing environment Knowledge of HACCP is an asset
