In summary, what does the role entail?
The Warehouse Logistics Planner is responsible for overseeing the planning and effective management of inventory. Reporting to the supervisor, this role involves structuring and organizing stock both physically and logically to simplify inventory counts and optimize operational and production flow. The planner also ensures compliance with procedures, provides training, and monitors inventory control to support the overall efficiency of the warehouse.

What is the ideal profile for this position?
2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, with strong skills in organization, analysis, and problem-solving.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in French.
Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-changing environment, with a strong results-oriented mindset and focus on continuous improvement.
Proficiency in MS Office applications; experience with an ERP system (e.g., Navision) is considered an asset.
As a Planner, what will your responsibilities be?
Coordinate inventory checks (locations, cycle counts, and annual counts), compile and analyze data, and prepare reports for team leaders and inventory control.
Review transactions causing irregularities in the system (Navision), lead corrective actions, and collaborate with teams to implement sustainable solutions.
Act as the subject matter expert for procedures related to inventory, warehouse, and shipping, including staff training when required.
Manage daily operations: release warehouse shipments, create picks and assembly orders, and process intercompany, reroute, and cross-dock orders.
Perform inter-warehouse transfers, manage discontinued items, apply the FEFO principle, and create new picking locations to maximize performance.
Work closely with team leaders and the supervisor to continuously optimize logistics and operational processes.
