Overview:
This position encompasses a range of warehouse and logistics responsibilities. In this role, you will act as the primary liaison with our 3PL carriers and warehouses ensuring timely deliveries and addressing any logistical challenges that arise. Your proactive approach will be key to our operational success. Exceptional organizational, coordination and communication skills are essential for supporting business objects and ensuring smooth logistics operations. Experience with logistics and deep understanding of the supply chain processes are highly beneficial.
What you will be doing:
Collaborate with all departments to delivery logistics and warehouse support, ensuring robust internal controls for processing both inbound and outbound logistics.
Coordinate with carriers, and warehouse teams to effectively manage inventory and facilitate the distribution of materials.
Perform key warehouse responsibilities, such as ensuring the efficient receipt, handling and dispatch of goods while maintaining precise records and inventory control.
Provide business analysis support to operations as needed to enhance decision-making and streamline processes.
Act as the primary operations contact to ensure the timely arrival of tradeshow materials and manage the return process for these items.
Coordinate with the warehouses to ensure proper storage and efficient restocking.
Specific duties: Warehouse
Shipping and receiving, and dispositioning goods;
Inventory management, maintain warehouse organization, and perform annual inventory count;
Repacking items, and assemble finished products;
Provide cross-department support.
Specific Duties: Logistics
Arrange and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, working closely with carriers, customs brokers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery.
Process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs forms, file CERS, to ensure compliance with regulations.
Coordinate with 3PL warehouses on inbound shipments receiving;
Track and trace shipments, 1st point of contact for shipment discrepancies: report and file damage/lost claims;
Collaborate with internal departments to prepare and fulfill orders for events, tradeshows, and other business needs.
Documentation & Reporting, maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory movements, and logistics expenses
What you must have:
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
3+ years of experience in a logistics coordination role.
Familiarity with incoterms, customs procedures and regulations.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with inventory management software and MS Office.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to lift and move materials as required (up to 50 lbs.).
Warehouse work experience is an asset.
CIFFA certificate/WHMIS is an asset.
Salary/Rate Range: $50,000 - $60,000
