Work with the execution team and help ensure tasks are carried out safely and in accordance with the department guidelines. Support, advise, develop daily work plan for a multi-skilled team member. Oversee the observance of production, maintenance, and operating procedures in accordance with health, safety environment, and quality control standards. The role is responsible for developing plans and schedules for process plant operations that consider the full business value chain and deliver required business results. Includes strategic, medium, and long-term planning.What the role entailsReporting to the Superintendent, Concentrator Operations you will:Actively participates in IOCs safety program, role models appropriate safety behaviors (safety observations, planned general inspections, accident/incident investigations, etc.)Plan, coordinate and monitor the execution of scheduled work, unplanned emergency and breakdown work plans, determining sequence and assignments based on work priority and availability of equipment and resourcing, including ordering and expediting parts, as well as scheduling resourcesCoordinating unscheduled work with equipment downtime with Maintenance and Operations Center. Accountable to increase operational performance of equipment in areas through sound planning principalsContractor management required at times ensuring safety requirements; timelines, etc. are being metWork closely with the Maintenance planner to ensure planned jobs are within scope and also to provide feedback on work completed, work to be rescheduled, parts and materials.
