We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join the Concentrator team to provide a range of support services including document preparation, data entry, customer service, payroll, scheduling of workforce, training records, and other related duties.
This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join a fast-paced and professional environment.
Reporting to the Superintendent Concentrator Operations, and working Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., you will:
  • Work safely in accordance with Rio Tinto safety standards - actively engaging in safety initiatives and promoting our "Zero harm" safety culture
  • Perform data entry to ensure accurate information is promptly captured in appropriate information systems
  • Accurately maintain resources overtime and records
  • Provide payroll and administrative support for supervisors
  • Establish and maintain office filing systems, files and records, assemble information upon request, direct other employees in file maintenance procedures
What you'll bring

  • Proficient in MS Office applications and SAP
  • Ability to work cooperatively and productively with others to achieve results

  • Experience with workforce scheduling, in a unionized environment, is an asset

We are a leading North American producer and exporter of premium iron ore pellets and high-grade concentrate with average iron grades greater than 66%.
