Le/La planificateur (trice) m\xc3\xa9dia joue un r\xc3\xb4le essentiel dans tous les aspects de la discipline. Les responsabilit\xc3\xa9s du poste incluent la propri\xc3\xa9t\xc3\xa9 des donn\xc3\xa9es du plan et du budget en ce qui concerne les projets assign\xc3\xa9s, la gestion des modifications du plan et la maintenance g\xc3\xa9n\xc3\xa9rale de l\'activit\xc3\xa9 et son effet sur tous les r\xc3\xa9sultats connexes, y compris la communication aux \xc3\xa9quipes de mise en \xc5\x93uvre. Vous serez responsable de la n\xc3\xa9gociation, de l\'achat et du maintien des calendriers m\xc3\xa9diatiques, en vous assurant que les achats finaux respectent l\'objectif et la strat\xc3\xa9gie du plan approuv\xc3\xa9. Principales responsabilit\xc3\xa9s

  • \xc3\x89labore les plans m\xc3\xa9dia pour les clients d\xc3\xa9termin\xc3\xa9s
  • Responsable de la maintenance quotidienne des calendriers m\xc3\xa9dia
  • Utilise efficacement les outils de l\'industrie pour aider \xc3\xa0 l\'\xc3\xa9laboration de plans
  • Aider \xc3\xa0 d\xc3\xa9velopper les m\xc3\xa9triques du plan et \xc3\xaatre responsable de l\'analyse et des rapports connexes relatifs aux KPI
  • Pr\xc3\xa9parer, contr\xc3\xb4ler, v\xc3\xa9rifier et \xc3\xa9mettre des analyses, y compris la maintenance continue
  • Assister les membres s\xc3\xa9niors de l\'\xc3\xa9quipe dans toutes les phases de la gestion des comptes/clients
  • D\xc3\xa9velopper une compr\xc3\xa9hension plus approfondie des besoins et de la strat\xc3\xa9gie des clients

  • Se tenir au courant des tendances de l\'industrie gr\xc3\xa2ce \xc3\xa0 des revues sp\xc3\xa9cialis\xc3\xa9es, des ateliers/s\xc3\xa9minaires de l\'industrie et suivre les \xc3\xa9v\xc3\xa9nements actuels.
Ce que vous apportez
  • Une (1) \xc3\xa0 deux (2) ann\xc3\xa9es d\'exp\xc3\xa9rience en tant que plannificateur (trice) et / ou d\'achat m\xc3\xa9dia
  • Dipl\xc3\xb4me de niveau universitaire ou C\xc3\xa9gep en M\xc3\xa9dia, Marketing ou tout autre domaine similaire
  • Bonne compr\xc3\xa9hension des concepts et principes de base m\xc3\xa9diatique
  • Bonne connaissance d\'Infosys et de BBM
  • Connaissance pratique des outils syndiqu\xc3\xa9s (PMB, Evaliant, DDS, Comscore, etc.)
  • Ma\xc3\xaetrise de la suite Microsoft Office
  • Capacit\xc3\xa9 \xc3\xa0 communiquer de mani\xc3\xa8re concise et claire \xc3\xa0 la fois oralement et par \xc3\xa9crit en anglais et en fran\xc3\xa7ais
  • Sens du num\xc3\xa9rique: utilise les m\xc3\xa9dias num\xc3\xa9riques et sociaux, fait preuve de passion pour les m\xc3\xa9dias \xc3\xa9mergents, Google Analytics, Google Images, capacit\xc3\xa9 de rechercher et de rechercher des sujets, etc.

Wavemaker is seeking a dynamic Media Planner to join our Montreal team.

The Media Planner plays an integral role across all aspects of the discipline. Job responsibilities include the ownership of plan and budget data as it relates to assigned projects, the management of plan changes, and general maintenance of activity and its effect on all related outputs, including communication to implementation teams. You will be responsible for negotiating, buying and maintaining media schedules, ensuring that final buys deliver on the approved plan objective and strategy. The Planner/Buyer will also provide recommendations on how competitive activities can be exploited to our clients\' advantage.

Key responsabilities
  • Responsible for day-to-day maintenance of media plan
  • Effectively uses industry tools to aid in plan development
  • Assist in developing plan metrics and responsible for analysis and related reports pertaining to KPIs
  • Prepare, check, verify and issue analysis including on-going maintenance
  • Assist senior team members in all phases of account/client management
  • Develop a deeper understanding of client needs and strategy
  • Analyze media alternatives to recommend how to best allocate the advertising budget
  • Facilitate competitive analysis as required
  • Play a key role in the budget and client billing process to ensure accuracy
  • Write and maintain status and contact reports to ensure efficient workflow to meet deadlines
  • Keep abreast of industry trends through trade journals, industry workshops/seminars and track current events
Your qualifications
  • Minimum 1-2 year as a Planning and/or Buyer
  • University or College degree/diploma in Media, Marketing, Business, or related field
  • Demonstrates understanding of media basics and concepts
  • Knowledge of Infosys and BBM
  • Working knowledge of Syndicated tools (PMB, Evaliant, DDS, Comscore, etc.)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to communicate concisely and clearly both orally and in writing
  • Digitally savvy: uses digital and social media, demonstrates passion about emerging media, Google Analytics, Google Images, ability to search and research topics, etc.
  • Demonstrates accuracy and attention to detail
  • Self-starter who demonstrates initiative
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Works well in a team setting
  • Thrives in fast paced environment
