Kitchen Team Member

Approximately 20 hours per week

Schedule:

Part-time to start, 3 to 4 days a week (mostly evenings)

About Us

Little Town Pizza Ltd. is a busy and growing pizzeria located in the heart of Chemainus, BC, now operating from our brand-new location. As part of the Roberts Street Pizza family with over 28 years of experience in the Cowichan Valley, we are known for our friendly atmosphere, fast-paced environment, and top-quality food.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with customers, can take orders, help make pizzas, and assist with evening prep. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, cares about quality, and enjoys being part of a small, supportive team.

Responsibilities

Greet and take customer orders in person and over the phone with a positive attitude Assist in making pizzas and preparing ingredients for the day and next shifts Follow prep lists and recipes to ensure consistency and efficiency Stock ingredients and supplies as needed throughout the shift Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and well-maintained Wash dishes, sanitize surfaces, and help with end-of-day cleaning and closing duties Provide friendly and attentive customer service Support other team members and maintain a positive team environment

Requirements

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail Comfortable in a fast-paced kitchen environment Previous kitchen or customer service experience is an asset, but training will be provided

Growth and Advancement

This position is part-time to start, with the potential for additional hours and growth. Team members who show reliability, initiative, and leadership potential can move up quickly within the company. There may also be opportunities to gain experience at our other locations in Ladysmith and Lake Cowichan.
