Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a love for food and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious pizzas while ensuring adherence to food safety standards and maintaining a clean kitchen.

Duties

Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including dough, sauces, and toppings. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Help train new kitchen staff on proper food handling and preparation techniques.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Familiarity with food preparation techniques, especially in the pizza-making process. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other kitchen staff. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers.
