Job Overview

We are seeking multiple dedicated and skilled Pizza Cooks to join our vibrant kitchen team. Both part time and full time available in a variety of time slots. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of food handling, preparation, and safety practices. As a Pizza Cook, you will play a crucial role in creating delicious pizzas that meet our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. This position requires a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment while working efficiently under pressure.

Types of shifts

:

Opener: typically 10am-7pm Lunch rush: typically part time on busy days and weekends: usually 11am-2pm Supper Rush: typically 4-7pm Late: typically 4-11pm Closer: typically 4-1:30am weekdays or 3:30am weekends

Duties

Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all food handling and preparation areas comply with food safety regulations. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including dough, sauces, and toppings. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal flavor and texture. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment and utensils. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management when restocking is needed. Follow all restaurant policies regarding food service and kitchen operations. Assist customers in placing their orders and facilitating payments.

Experience

Previous experience in food service or the restaurant industry is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and safety standards is essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are crucial for success in this role. A passion for cooking and creating quality meals that delight customers is highly valued.

Pay: $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 40 per week
