Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency. Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and training in food handling and safety practices. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation. Assist in meal preparation for special events or catering services as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling. Excellent cooking skills with an understanding of various cuisines and meal preparation techniques. Prior experience in restaurant or kitchen environments is preferred. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team. Passion for culinary arts and commitment to providing outstanding service to guests.
