Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with experience in fine dining and catering. This role involves menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. The Chef will play a crucial role in creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests while leading a team of kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency and quality in every dish. Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness standards. Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food handling practices, and safety protocols. Ensure compliance with health regulations and food safety standards at all times. Collaborate with dietary aides to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences of guests. Participate in catering events, providing exceptional service and culinary expertise. Maintain effective communication with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or catering environment, with fine dining experience preferred. Strong culinary skills with proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu planning. Experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus. Excellent knife skills and knowledge of food safety practices are essential. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage kitchen staff effectively. A passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes that exceed guest expectations.
