Position Overview:
The Pit Boss will be in charge of several dealers operating several different games simultaneously. The Pit Boss is expected to be an absolute expert in the games they oversee, and be able to hand out rulings at a moment's notice. They must also ensure first-rate customer service and efficient table game procedures at assigned tables and to act within and according to internal guidelines to ensure the compliance of Alberta Gaming & Liquor Commission (AGLC) terms and conditions.
Education and Experience:

• Completed education relevant to the service industry
• Specific education relevant to money transactions and games procedures
• Demonstrated experience as a Multi-Game Dealer with a full knowledge and experience in dealing the following games: Blackjack, Baccarat, Proprietary Games, Roulette and either Pai Gow Tiles or Craps.
• Experience in Dealer Position
• Computer literacy

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of advantage and cheating at play on games being supervised.
• Experience with table games, rules, and procedures.
• Has experience in customer service and leadership.
• Excellent negotiating, oral and written communication skills
• Proven ability to coach and mentor associates.
• Able to work in high stress environments (work load, conflict situations, etc).
• Must be accurate and detail oriented.
• Accustomed to work in a team and independently.
• Must be able to stand for long periods at a time.
• Must be able to work in evenings and weekend shifts
• Must be able to work in a smoking environment
• Exposure to Scents/Perfumes.

Please note:
Employee must currently be a dealer OR dual dealer/pit boss. Must be willing to change shifts and or days off and must be proficient in roulette as well as minor games.
