Do you like a fast-paced, fun environment where you can meet lots of people? Our gaming dealer position is perfect if you get excited about helping people and enjoy a good time. Jackpot Casino are looking for smiling poker faces and excellent customer service skills. You will learn to operate a number of different gaming tables as well as how to track bets and tally winnings. If you are successful in this position, you may have the opportunity for advancement within our organization.
REPORTS TO: Games Manager/Pit Supervisor/Pit Boss
Dealers are responsible for the conduct of casino games within the AGLC terms & conditions and within the house rules at Jackpot casino. Dealers shall offer a high level of customer service and professionalism towards all guests and co-workers.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct of a game:
- Maintain focus and accurately deal the game
- Awareness of the activities at the gaming table
- Money for chip exchange and chip denomination changes
- Knowledge of the rules of play for that specific game
- Security of chips
- Follow Supervisors instructions
- Emergency procedures
Customer Service:
- Greet customers in a courteous, friendly and efficient manner
- Create a fun and inviting atmosphere at the tables by interacting with the customers in a positive manner
- Communicate clearly and effectively with all patrons
Key Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact with potentially difficult customers
- Strong mathematical skills
- Good oversight capabilities are crucial for this line of work.
- Must meet AGLC\xe2\x80\x99s requirements to become a registered gaming worker
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance; punctual and well-organized
- At least 18 years old and high school diploma or equivalent
Education and Training:
- Training provided by Jackpot Casino
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends
- Part-time Only
