Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pipelayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation and repair of pipelines, ensuring that all work meets safety and quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, as well as proficiency in operating various tools and equipment. The Pipelayer will work closely with other construction professionals to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities



Install, repair, and maintain pipelines for water, storm, or sewage systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as backhoes to dig trenches for pipeline installation. Operate rigging safely while adhering to all safety protocols. Perform welding tasks as needed to ensure secure pipe connections. Carpentry and other handyman skills. Collaborate with team members to plan and execute projects according to specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all equipment is properly stored after use. Troubleshoot mechanical issues that may arise during installation or maintenance.

Qualifications



Proven experience in pipelaying or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools and power tools effectively. Familiarity with backhoe operation and other heavy machinery is essential. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment. A valid driver's license may be required depending on job site locations. Job Types: Full-time, Freelance

Pay: $23.87-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
