Job Description
We are looking for skilled individual with experience in an industrial setting to work on Construction and Maintenance Outage for our client in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. This position starts on April 22nd 2023 and will ramp down on May 24th 2023.
What would you be doing?
- Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the type of pipe and instruments to use and lay out the sequence of tasks.
- Draft detailed sketches for pipe and equipment fabrication and installation
- Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install metal, plastic, and fiberglass pipes, valves, and fittings.
- Join pipe sections, and related equipment and secure in position.
- Use testing equipment to check systems for leaks.
- Maintain and repair piping systems.
- Pipefitter ticket.
- Valid CSTS-20, H2S Alive, WHMIS, Confined Space, Standard First Aid, Fall Protection, Aerial Lift ticket.
- Enjoy a varied workload.
- Able to work a 5 day on and 2 day off schedule; 10-12 Hours Shifts
- Competitive Pay - JourneyPerson Rate of $42.03/Hr.
- Benefits after 300 hours of work
- Opportunity to work overtime
- Overtime provided
- LOA $155 on an 100 km applicable Radius
This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
