Job Summary

Site Resource Group is seeking Journeyman / Apprentices for our Sherwood Park Shop. The job purpose of a Journeyman / Apprentice Pipefitter is to use their specialized skills and knowledge to install, maintain, and repair piping systems in a safe and efficient manner, contributing to the success of construction, plumbing, and industrial projects. They play a critical role in ensuring that these systems operate effectively and reliably. A good pipe fitter should also be aware of all the safety precautions they need to take when using these tools and know how to maintain a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes. Measure, cut, thread, bend, assemble and install metal tubing, pipes, pipe sections, valves, and fittings. Hydrotest and install fabricated pipe spools within structural steel modular assemblies, adding designed supports as required. Maintain all tools, work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion. Read and interpret client and company-supplied construction fabrication drawings and specifications.

Requirements

Possession of a Journeyman Pipefitter Certification / Apprentice AIT# Familiarity with industry standards and best practices Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract Must be fit-for-duty. Pre employment D&A will be required. Able to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing Must be immediately eligible/able to work in Canada.

Safety Tickets

CSTS 2020 WHMIS 2015 First Aid/CPR Class 5 driver's license

Travel & Schedule

Willing to travel if required
