Description


You are a Journeyman Pipefitter or Apprentice Pipefitter with experience to support us on our Project. You will be an integral part of the Ledcor team working on the EVR project. This project is happening at Elkford, BC.
Responsibilities:

Demonstrates knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, and bolting up, valves and fittings Performs Rigging and installing piping with a crane, carry-deck. Performs Bolt-up and torquing flanges, cutting, grooving, Field-fitting wellhead piping Assembles and installs Victaulic fittings according to blueprints and job specifications Working safely in a team environment such as working with a crew of pipefitters or working with a welder Performs physically demanding tasks such as cutting openings for pipe while standing for extended periods of time and securing pipe in hard-to-reach areas Uses testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors

Requirements

Must have a Journeyperson Pipefitter certification or be a registered Pipefitter Apprentice from a recognized provincial training authority Minimum 2+ years of experience on industrial construction or pipeline projects is required Successful candidates will require Fall Protection, Elevated Work Platform ,Confined Space Good attention to detail with the ability to problem solve Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies

Work Conditions:

Project is located in Elkford, BC 14 days on / 7 days off shift schedule, working 10 hours per day Site-based camp provided Travel allowance for candidates who qualify Retention Bonus & Premiums accordingly Benefits provided by CLAC

Compensation


This is the applicable wage range for this position. Individuals will be assigned a base wage within this range based on trade certification and/or apprenticeship level, industry experience, and work location.


Remote, site-based positions may be eligible for additional incentives including but not limited to travel and accommodation allowances.
