We are currently seeking an experienced Journeyman Pipefitter at our Fort Hills site. This is a hands-on role involving the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems on industrial sites, all work is performed in accordance with applicable codes and safety regulations.
Key ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and specifications Lay out, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems Cut, thread, bend, and weld pipes using various tools and equipment Work closely with welders and other trades to complete installations Conduct pressure tests and inspections to ensure system integrity Perform equipment and system troubleshooting and maintenance Adhere to all site safety procedures, policies, and regulations Complete daily reports and maintain proper documentation

QualificationsAlberta Journeyman Pipefitter Certification or Red Seal Journeyman Preference will be given to candidates who hold a dual ticket (Pipefitter/Millwright or Pipefitter/Boiler Maker) High School Diploma or GED Clean Drivers Abstract Previous experience working in the Oil & Gas or the Heavy Industrial sector Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to work in physically demanding environments

Information And Other Key Details:This will be a fly in fly out position at our Fort Hills Site, North of Fort McMurray This is a camp based position You will work a 7 days on and 7 days off dayshift rotation This a safety sensitive role
