Pipefitter

Job Description
You are a knowledgeable Pipefitter that has extensive experience working in an industrial shop setting. We are looking for a Pipefitter to support us in our Module Fabrication shop in Nisku, AB. The successful candidate will be responsible for working in accordance with quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and thread piping
- Install piping spools, equipment and valves in modules
- Use and maintain tools
- Mentor and provide guidance for apprentices
- Hydrotest, assemble and install pipe spools in the fabrication facility and modules
- Accurately reading and interpreting blueprints
- Meet and follow all safety requirements and applicable safety policies
- Ticketed Journeyperson status or enrolled in apprenticeship program is preferred
- Construction Safety Training System certificate (CSTS-2020) is required
- Must have 3 -4 years of previous fabrication experience
- Experience with hydraulic torquing machines
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to problem solve
- Vaccinations against COVID 19 are not required on site, however masks (provided by Ledcor) must be worn when social distancing is not possible
