Faculty Appointment Types Full Time-Limited Term Sessional Non-NRSL Job Summary
The College of New Caledonia is looking for a sessional instructor to teach in the Pipe Trades Program.
Skills & Qualifications
An Interprovincial Trades Qualification in the Plumbing or Steamfitter/Pipefitter trade. Five years of experience working as a Journeyperson in a number of industrial settings. Preference will be given to candidates who are current in the trade and who have recent proven teaching and/or supervisory experience. The successful candidate should be able to deal effectively with students on an individual or group basis. Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams) is required. Completion of the Provincial Instructor's Diploma Program (PIDP) would be considered an asset.


The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety practices and will foster a safety-first culture with students and in the CNC community.

Hiring criteria shall include professional qualifications, professional experience, teaching experience, college contributions, community awareness and personal attributes so far as they are applicable to the job classification in question.
