Job Overview
We are a 12,000 acre grain farm, with a custom aerial applicator operation, seeking a skilled and dedicated Spray Pilot to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety, exceptional flying skills, and the ability to navigate complex flight paths. As a Pilot, you will be responsible for operating a 1997 Weatherly aircraft in a variety of conditions while ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance with aviation regulations. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with ground staff.

Responsibilities

• Operate aircraft safely and efficiently in accordance with all applicable regulations and company policies.
• Conduct pre-flight inspections to ensure the aircraft is in optimal condition for flight.
• Monitor weather conditions, navigational aids, and flight instruments throughout the journey.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of flights, including hours flown, maintenance performed, and any incidents or irregularities.

Experience

• A valid Canadian Commercial pilot's license with appropriate ratings.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• Strong organizational skills to manage flight schedules, documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) can be beneficial for navigation planning.

Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: $45,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
