Description Job Summary: You are a Rig Operator with experience working in industrial or pipeline project settings. Join the Ledcor team in Abbotsford BC today! Essential Responsibilities:

  • Operate piling equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Fully understand all safety aspects of equipment operation on an industrial site
  • Successfully complete all necessary paperwork legibly and correctly
  • Perform small mechanical repairs to the respective piece of equipment
  • Safe and productive installation of driven pipe piles and sheet piles
  • Understanding and ability to read construction documents
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience with Liebherr, Junttan, or Bauer pile driving rigs is required
  • Experience with both driven and sheet piling techniques is required
  • Understands the mechanical aspects of the specific piece of equipment they are operating
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
  • Strong commitment to health and safety on the worksite
  • Must have a valid CSTS 2020 (Construction Safety Training System) certification
  • Must have a valid PCTS (Pipeline Construction Safety Training) certification
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
Work Conditions:
  • This is a site-based role in Abbotsford, British Columbia at the Sumas Terminal for the Transmountain Expansion Project
  • 14 days on, 7 days off, 10 hours per day
  • Living-out allowance and travel provided for those that qualify
  • Overtime paid
  • Work will be outside in all weather conditions
  • Benefits provided by CLAC
