Hello all,

Annette Street Music is looking for a piano/vocal/guitar/violin teacher who is available to teach lessons during the week after school (3:30pm - 8:30pm) and potentially on the weekends as well (9am -2pm)

We are a small, community oriented music school located in Babypoint close to Jane and Annette and are excited to have another great person join our team. This position requires a commitment to at least June of this year but hopefully years beyond as we build your day with students. We are seeking someone who has teaching experience with both kids and adults. If you are able to play other instruments like guitar, ukulele, violin, that would be great too.

Duties:

- Provide lessons to students of various ages and skill levels
- Create individualized lesson plans based on students' goals and abilities
- Teach music theory, technique, sight-reading, and performance skills
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback and guidance for improvement
- Prepare students for recitals, competitions, and other performance opportunities
- Stay updated on current teaching methods and music education trends

Skills:

-Vocal and Piano training and experience

- Proficient in playing the piano with a strong foundation in music theory
- Ability to effectively communicate and engage with students of all ages
- Experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably in a classroom or one-on-one setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles is a plus
- Patience, creativity, and adaptability in tailoring lessons to meet individual student needs
- Strong organizational skills to manage lesson schedules and track student progress

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00-$34.00 per hour
