Position Details:
Tuesdays:
Private piano lessons + Group Musical Theatre class
Thursdays & Saturdays:
Additional private piano lessons
Part-time position (approx. 4-10 hours per week, with potential for growth)
Responsibilities:
Teach engaging and personalized private piano lessons to students of various ages and skill levels.
Lead a group musical theatre class, incorporating singing, acting, and performance skills in a supportive environment.
Develop lesson plans that are inspiring, educational, and tailored to student needs.
Foster confidence, creativity, and a love of the performing arts.
Provide constructive feedback and encourage student progress.
Support student performance opportunities, such as recitals or showcases.
Qualifications:
Strong background in piano performance and teaching experience.
Experience in musical theatre (singing, acting, or performance coaching).
Ability to connect with and inspire children and youth.
Knowledge of music theory, technique, and performance skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable, organized, and enthusiastic about teaching.
