Job Description

As a Physiotherapy Technician, you will play a key role in assisting interdisciplinary teams to maximize the autonomy and well-being of our residents. You will contribute to the assessment and treatment of physical functional impairments, support rehabilitation activities, and ensure the proper maintenance of therapy equipment.

The position is a temporary replacement from end of November 2025, for a duration of approximately one year.

Wanted profile

College diploma (DEC) in physiotherapy techniques from a recognized institution. Member of the Ordre professionnel de la physiotherapie du Quebec. Good knowledge of English and French (written and spoken). This position requires English to meet residents' needs, who are primarily anglophone. Minimum 2 years of experience (an asset).

Responsibilities :

Description du poste

Le ou la technicien(ne) en physiotherapie joue un role cle au sein de l'equipe interdisciplinaire afin de maximiser l'autonomie et le bien-etre des residents. Vous contribuez a l'evaluation et au traitement des limitations physiques, soutenez les activites de readaptation et assurez l'entretien adequat de l'equipement de therapie.

Il s'agit d'un poste de remplacement temporaire a partir de la fin novembre 2025, pour une duree d'environ un an.

Profil recherche

Diplome d'etudes collegiales (DEC) en techniques de physiotherapie d'un etablissement reconnu. Membre de l'Ordre professionnel de la physiotherapie du Quebec. Bonne connaissance de l'anglais et du francais (ecrit et parle). Ce poste requiert l'anglais pour repondre aux besoins des residents, qui sont majoritairement anglophones. Experience de 2 ans (atout).

Responsabilites

Administrer les traitements de physiotherapie selon les prescriptions des medecins et physiotherapeutes. Appliquer diverses techniques therapeutiques. Aider les residents avec la mobilite, les transferts et les activites de la vie quotidienne. Commander et maintenir les fournitures et equipements de physiotherapie. Collaborer avec l'equipe interdisciplinaire et participer a l'education du personnel, des residents et des familles.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.16-$32.53 per hour

Expected hours: 28 per week
