We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting physiotherapists in delivering high-quality patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to work effectively with patients to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Duties
Prepares clients for their physiotherapy appointment by welcoming them and bringing them to their designated treatment space.
Answering phone calls to book patients
Handling payments and Direct billing to insurance companies
Assist physiotherapists with the preparation/application/removal of hot and cold packs, removal of electrical modalities
Ensure the physiotherapy clinic and equipment are always kept clean
Maintain clinic and equipment tidiness/appearance

Requirements
Experience with Jane App EMR is a bonus!
Previous experience working in a physiotherapy clinic as a Physiotherapy Aide preferred but not required
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Strong ability to interact with other healthcare professionals, the clinical staff and the public is essential
