Job Description
The Leadership Team of Roseway Manor is seeking a Physiotherapy Assistant to join our Team. Our 66 residents come from all walks of life, with different needs and abilities.
The Rehabilitation Assistant will provide designated treatments and interventions; they will also perform work related duties as required.
Responsibilities:
Monthly wheelchair and sling inspections Weekly ROHO mattress/cushion inspections Maintenance of medical equipment Labelling, organizing, and keeping track of Red Cross inventory Red Cross equipment audits as required by Red Cross Assisting Occupational Therapist with Red Cross paperwork Obtaining quotes from vendors for medical equipment Submitting requests to replace damaged equipment Cleaning and returning Red Cross equipment Transfer and Lift training delivery to all staff Initial assessment of resident transfer upon admission with RN supervision Walking programs/individualized ROM exercise programs as PT/OT suggests
Qualifications:
Completion of a recognized Occupational/Physiotherapy Assistant Program or hold a Continuing Care Assistant Certification Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check

Pay: $21.14-$21.50 per hour
