Physiotherapy Assistant
to join our dynamic team. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with licensed physiotherapists, assisting in patient rehabilitation and ensuring optimal recovery outcomes.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans and therapy sessions.
Prepare treatment areas and equipment while ensuring cleanliness and safety.
Support patients with mobility exercises, emphasizing proper technique.
Monitor patient responses during sessions and report any issues to the physiotherapist.
Document patient progress and treatment activities accurately.
Help with administrative tasks like scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
Maintain compliance with infection control and safety procedures.
Additional Tasks:
Communicate with patients in person, over the phone, and via email.
Organize and maintain patient files.
Assist with patient discharge and prepare for new appointments.
Coordinate with ICBC, WSBC, insurers, and other third parties as needed.
Keep the therapy area clean and well-organized.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in computer applications (e.g., Word, Excel).
Familiarity with WSBC, ICBC, and MSP paperwork and billing is preferred.
Experience with the Jane App is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
