Summary

We are seeking a Physiotherapy Assistant to join our dedicated team at the C.A.R.E Institute in Essex, Ontario. This role is vital in supporting our physiotherapists and contributing to patient recovery in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Assist physiotherapists with patient assessments and treatment plans. Support patient care by preparing treatment areas and equipment. Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions. Maintain accurate medical records using proper medical terminology. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the clinic. Collaborate with team members to optimize patient outcomes. Provide compassionate support to patients throughout their recovery process

Qualifications

Proven hospital experience or background in acute care settings. Strong knowledge of patient care procedures. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Certification or diploma in physiotherapy assistance or related field is preferred.

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
