Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments or disabilities. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment, focusing on improving patients' mobility and overall quality of life.

Duties

Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their physical condition and rehabilitation needs. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals. Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to enhance recovery. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation strategies, and home exercise programs. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care in acute care settings or hospitals. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Skills

Registered with College Of Physiotherapists of Ontario Proficient in medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practices. Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and effective communication. Experience or knowledge in pediatrics is a plus, enhancing the ability to treat younger patients effectively. Familiarity with acute care environments, ensuring readiness for fast-paced clinical settings. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in a hospital or clinical environment.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $43.89-$63.81 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 5 per week
