As part of the role, the Physiotherapist will provide consultative (can include assessment, intervention, and follow-up) service as part of the interprofessional team within the Rehab Clinic as well as ongoing ambulatory physiotherapy services for patients within the Rehab Services portfolio. The physiotherapist works in collaboration with the child/youth and family, interdisciplinary team, and team leaders. The Physiotherapist consults and collaborates with other interdisciplinary team members both within the Health Centre and in the community. The Physiotherapist participates in the professional development of services through care team meetings, working groups, and subcommittees as appropriate. The Physiotherapist will also participate in the education of patients and families, Health Centre staff, and affiliated students. As a member of the Physiotherapy Service, the Physiotherapist will share responsibility with all IWK Physiotherapists for caseload coverage throughout the Health Centre as required, as well as weekend standby and call-back coverage on a rotational basis.Hours of Work7.5 hours/shift, daytime.
