Position Summary

The Physiotherapist is responsible for the caseload of outpatient and inpatient program.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Physical Therapy with evidence of ongoing professional development required. Current registration with the Ontario College of Physiotherapy required. Eligible for membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association required. 1-3 years experience working with patients of various ages with neurological and orthopaedic diagnosis in the acute and rehabilitation phases of assessment and treatment required. Demonstrated ability to function collaboratively and effectively within an interdisciplinary team and with community partners. Proven ability to prioritize and organize caseload to deal effectively and efficiently with competing demands. Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office software applications and excellent keyboarding skills. Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated superior organizational and time management skills. Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and multi task efficiently. Demonstrated ability in conflict management. Demonstrated good interpersonal skills. Demonstrates commitment to continued professional and personal growth and development through Continuing Education Programs and Self Directed Learning Opportunities. Satisfactory work performance and attendance record required The successful candidate will have a proven commitment to professional development as well as to the Mission and Vision of the Hospital. Demonstrates proficiency in written and verbal communications skills.
