We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physiotherapist specializing in Clinical Pilates to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care across various settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient facilities, home health, and community care. This role involves developing and implementing tailored physiotherapy treatment plans to improve patient outcomes, with a focus on musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. The Physiotherapist will utilize their expertise in physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to deliver high-quality care that promotes recovery and enhances mobility.
Duties
Assess patients' physical conditions through detailed evaluations, including physiology and anatomy knowledge.
Develop individualized care plans incorporating discharge planning, trigger point therapy, and orthopedics principles.
Administer physiotherapy treatments such as manual therapy, trigger point therapy, and exercise programs including Clinical Pilates.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to optimize recovery outcomes.
Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless inpatient, outpatient, or home & community care services.
Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately using EMR systems.
Educate patients and caregivers on injury prevention, home exercises, and health maintenance strategies.
Assist in discharge planning by evaluating patient needs for ongoing care or community resources.
Maintain compliance with hospital or clinic policies regarding patient safety and confidentiality.
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in physiotherapy practices.
Skills
Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice.
Experience in acute care, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, home health, outpatient clinics, hospital settings, and inpatient care.
Proficiency with EMR systems for documentation and patient management.
Skilled in developing comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Expertise in discharge planning and managing care transitions across different healthcare environments.
Familiarity with trigger point therapy and other manual therapy techniques.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations including pediatrics and geriatrics.
Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams in hospital or community settings.
Knowledge of home & community care protocols and experience delivering physiotherapy services outside traditional clinical environments.
