Physiotherapist - Cardiorespiratory - VH The Physiotherapist (PT) is accountable for providing physiotherapy services primarily for the Cardiorespiratory team at Victoria Hospital. The successful candidate will support collaborative, patient centred, evidence informed care and is accountable for providing physiotherapy services as required. The PT will value an interprofessional approach and will participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives. The PT will report to the Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Physiotherapy Practice. Shifts are scheduled Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Friday, weekends, statutory holidays and On Call. Part-Time Rate of Pay: $41.31 per hour to $51.63 per hour Hours of Work: 22.00 hours weekly
Qualifications
Successful Completion of an Undergraduate Bachelor\'s Degree in Physiotherapy
Completion of Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Physiotherapy preferred
Current Registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
Current membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association preferred
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Workload Measurement software (Infomed)
Demonstrated ability to ensure an evidence-informed approach to patient care
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively to promote interprofessional practice and achieve optimal patient care
Proven critical thinking and conflict resolution skills
Demonstrated strong interpersonal, communication skills (both verbal and written), leadership and teaching skills
Demonstrated ability to be self-directed and function independently
Demonstrated committed to ongoing learning for the purpose of improving patient outcomes through seeking, creating, applying, disseminating and translating knowledge
Excellent information research skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities
Demonstrated practice and commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
Demonstrated practice and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC\xe2\x80\x99s Mission, Vision and Values
Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
Immunization Requirements:
Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/ Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis.
Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step) and COVID vaccine series.
