Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Physics Teacher to teach students following the Ontario Secondary School Curriculum. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, effective communication skills, and a passion for inspiring students to understand and appreciate physics.
Responsibilities
Teach Physics courses at the secondary level (Grades 9-12) aligned with the Ontario Curriculum.
Prepare and deliver engaging, concept-focused lessons tailored to students' learning needs.
Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback for academic growth.
Maintain clear communication with parents and administrators regarding student progress.
Participate in periodic staff meetings and contribute to curriculum planning and improvement
Qualifications
Masters Degree in Physics, Education, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Relevant teaching experience preferred.
Strong command of the Ontario Curriculum and assessment standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to teach virtually using online platforms (Google Meet / Zoom).
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour
Work Location: Remote
