Essential Qualifications
Required Degree:
Holding a Bachelor's degree in
Physics, Education, or a related field
is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
Teaching Experience:
Previous experience teaching high school physics
within a
North American curriculum
is necessary.
Subject Background:
This position
requires previous experience with physics
; applicants with strong physics backgrounds and teaching experience are highly encouraged to apply.
Subject Proficiency:
Ability to teach physics concepts with clarity and confidence, which will be demonstrated during the selection process.
Technical Skill:
Proficiency in utilizing online teaching tools (even for potential supplementary remote work or administrative tasks).
Core Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, rigorous lessons to small classes of students or through private tutoring sessions in person.
Prepare lesson materials that are aligned with curriculum guidelines and effectively mark homework and assessments.
Actively work to promote and enhance students' intrinsic interests in the subject of Physics.
Teachers are expected to teach a
minimum of 4 hours per week

Driving:
Parking stipends are included for our teachers.
Compensation:
Compensation is calculated based on scheduled teaching hours and prior teaching experience.
