Position Overview: Mathematics Instructor (In-Person)
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Math Instructor to join our in-person team. Ideal candidates are currently teaching mathematics at a day school, enrolled in a teacher's college program, or working in a related educational field.
This is a required in-person position.
Candidates must be able to
reliably commute
to our North York location. Instructors will tailor materials to meet student needs and foster significant academic growth.
Essential Qualifications
Required Degree:
A Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, or Education with a focus on Math is
required
; advanced degrees are a significant plus.
Subject Background:
Teachers with backgrounds in Mathematics, Science, Physics, and Engineering are encouraged to apply.
Teaching Experience:
Required teaching experience in Mathematics for any grade
from Grade 6 to Grade 12
.
Academic Proficiency:
Teachers must demonstrate strong academic proficiency and confidence in teaching mathematics during the selection process.
Technical Skill:
Proficiency in using online teaching tools and educational software is expected.
Commitment:
Teachers are expected to commit to a
minimum of 4 hours per week
.
Key Instructional Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons to small classes of students in person.
Prepare lesson materials within program guidelines and effectively mark homework and formal assessments.
Actively work to promote and enhance students' intrinsic interest in mathematics.

Driving:
Parking stipends are included for our teachers.
Compensation:
Compensation is calculated based on scheduled teaching hours and prior teaching experience.
