Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate

Physical Therapist

to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with experience in hospital settings and acute care environments. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' recovery journeys by providing personalized therapy plans and support across diverse medical conditions, including pediatrics. The Physical Therapist will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive rehabilitative services.

Duties



Assess patients' physical conditions through detailed evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving mobility, strength, and functional ability. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to optimize recovery outcomes. Educate patients and their families on exercises, injury prevention, and health maintenance techniques. Document patient care activities accurately in medical records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans for patients across various settings such as hospitals, clinics, or pediatric facilities. Assist in the training of staff or interns when necessary, sharing expertise in patient care and medical terminology.

Requirements



Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice. Hospital experience preferred, especially in acute care or pediatric settings. Proven experience in patient care with a focus on rehabilitation therapies. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures related to physical therapy. Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and motivate patients of all ages. Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team and adapt to fast-paced environments. Prior experience working with pediatric populations is a plus but not mandatory. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $33.94 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
