Position Description:Our client is a regional referral center and teaching hospital; we are a recognized trauma center with a newly renovated state of the art Medical/Surgical ICU. We have a 14-bed Rehabilitation Unit, a 6-bed Neurosurgical ICU and 12-bed Neurosurgical Unit. Inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation is offered to patients with complex neurologic, neuromuscular and musculoskeletal conditions. Successful applicants will be expected to share inpatient duties (inpatient consults and following rehab patients) equally with existing physiatrists. This may range between a minimum of $249, 054 to a maximum of $302, 796 annually (excluding benefits and source deductions) based on qualifications and experience. These rates are based on New Brunswick's Medicare Medical Pay Plan and are subject to changes based on policy updates.Qualifications:Must hold a valid license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick.Must be a member in good standing with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.Must be a licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC).Must have a current malpractice insurance from the Canadian Medical Protective Association appropriate to the category of practice.Must be eligible for membership in the Department of Neurosciences.Excellent communication, interpersonal and team-building skills.Excellent attendance and work record.Incentives:$50,000.00 accompanied by a 2 year return of service.
