Phlebotomist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for drawing blood (and or other) samples from patients and preparing them for laboratory testing.
Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and skin punctures competently and expediently
- Collect blood samples while ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Label specimens accurately and ensure proper transportation to the laboratory
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow infection control procedures at all times
- Provide exceptional patient care during the phlebotomy process
Experience:
- Prior experience in a hospital or laboratory setting preferred
- Proficiency in medical terminology
- Ability to phlebotomize patients of all ages
- Strong patient care skills

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
