Job Description

D&M Pharmacy and Travel Clinic is currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Assistant to Join our team at the SE Location

Requirements:

- Certification from recognized program

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Knowledge of Kroll is an asset

- Preferred at least one year pharmacy experience.

Duties including but not limited to:

- Helps health care providers and patients by greeting them in person and by phone, answering questions and requests, and referring inquiries to the pharmacist.

- Maintains pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock and determine inventory level, placing and expediting orders and removing outdated drugs.

- Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

- Prepare, compound, and dispense medications and pharmaceutical products according to the prescription's information

- Resolve issues when they arise (e.g. rejected insurance claims)

- Undertake administrative tasks (e.g. record-keeping) as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
