Pharmacy Assistant/Technician

For our other position, we seek a candidate with

at least 2 years of experience

as assistant or technician. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting pharmacy operations, ensuring that patients receive their medications accurately and efficiently. This position requires a strong understanding of medication administration, medical terminology, and patient care, along with experience working with Kroll systems.

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients. Maintain accurate patient records and medication inventories. Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns from patients and healthcare professionals. Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and safety standards. Support medication administration by preparing prescriptions and managing refills. Organize and maintain the pharmacy workspace to ensure a clean and efficient environment. Collaborate with healthcare staff to enhance patient care and medication management.

Experience & Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar role is required. Proficiency with Kroll systems is essential. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are key for success in this role. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
