Position Summary:

Professional Arts Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team in the Georgetown, ON location. The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the pharmacy, including but not limited to stocking, inventory, processing, and shipping of prescriptions. The ideal candidate will possess a warm and friendly personality, work well as a member of a team, have excellent customer service skills, and be able to perform tasks with attention to detail and safety standards.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required Able to work on your feet for extended periods of time Ability to work overtime as needed Computer skills required for tasks required by job.
Responsibilities:

Receiving and entering prescriptions in a timely and accurate manner. Placing and receiving orders, as well as stocking medicine with correct quantities. Conduct cash transactions with customers Retrieving, organizing and packaging medications. Checking each prescription for accuracy and completeness before completing the order. Checking each prescription for legibility before completing the order. Checking each prescription for legibility before completing the order.
