Your Opportunity:

Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician I, you will be responsible for the preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical products. You will receive and triage medication orders, compound and repackage medication and prepare sterile and non-sterile pharmaceutical products.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of a CCAPP-accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) as a Pharmacy Technician. Additional Required Qualifications:

Recent sterile products experience is required. Demonstrated communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to work in teams and independently. Preferred Qualifications:

Current AHS validation in sterile products and non-sterile compounding is preferred. Membership with a pharmacy professional organization is preferred. Prior hospital experience with a variety of responsibilities including but not limited to the use of technology in pharmacy practice is preferred. Connect care Epic (Willow) training and experience are preferred. Committed to continual personal quality improvement and lifelong learning.
