Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, the incumbent as part of the Pharmacy team measures, manufactures, compounds, packages and distributes medication, performs order entry duties and administrative functions on a rotational basis, and other related duties.
Knowledge, skills and abilities required:
Knowledge of manufacturing methods to measure, manufacture, compound, package and distribute medications;
Strong organizational and analytical skills;
Good communications skills, both oral and written;
Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office products;
Ability to operate related equipment;
Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary work team;
Cross cultural awareness and sensitivity.
The successful applicant will be a high school graduate or possess a GED and have one (1) to two (2) years related experience. Experience with Meditech would be considered an asset. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
