Custom Health is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacy Technician to join our team at the Chilliwack Pharmacy Hub. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality pharmaceutical services. This position requires strong technical expertise and professional judgment.

We are looking for an ideal candidate who can confidently answer pharmaceutical inquiries and deliver exceptional customer service. The candidate should demonstrate compassion, attention to detail, and excellent administrative skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently dispense prescription medications.
• Prepare and package medications, ensuring proper labeling and instructions.
• Maintain inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and assist with inventory management.
• Process prescription orders, including data entry and insurance claims processing.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure a smooth workflow and efficient operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to pharmacy standards and regulations.
• Assist in the maintenance and calibration of pharmacy equipment.
• Adhere to all relevant pharmacy laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
• Other duties are assigned.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• Completion of a recognized Pharmacy Technician program.
• Registration and good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, prescription processing, and inventory management.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in prescription dispensing.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A commitment to providing outstanding patient care
• Must reside in the Province of BC, Canada

Experience:

• 1 year of pharmacy technician experience (required)
• Proficiency in data entry and billing
