Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee pharmacy operations within a healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant dispensing of medications, coordinate patient care activities, and lead a team of pharmacy staff. This role requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Manage daily pharmacy operations, including medication dispensing, inventory control, and staff scheduling Ensure compliance with all federal and state pharmacy regulations and hospital policies Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians and staff to maintain high standards of service Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes Oversee medication administration processes, including preparation and distribution of prescriptions Maintain accurate documentation and records for all pharmaceutical activities Monitor medication safety protocols and implement quality improvement initiatives Stay current with advancements in pharmaceutical practices, especially in acute care and pediatrics settings

Skills

Proven experience in community pharmacy settings ( Addiction Treatment as well) Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and patient care protocols Excellent leadership and team management abilities Fillware Ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, patients, and staff Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and inventory management tools Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
