Sunshine Drugs is seeking a qualified and dedicated

Designated Pharmacy Manager

to join our team at our Bathurst location for a

one-year maternity leave contract

. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive, community-focused pharmacy network while leading daily operations in accordance with Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Fulfill all obligations of a

Designated Manager

as defined by the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP), ensuring full compliance with all regulatory, legal, and professional standards. Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations, including staff supervision, inventory management, and workflow optimization. Ensure the safe, effective, and ethical dispensing of prescription medications. Provide leadership and foster a positive and collaborative team environment. Maintain accurate records and documentation as per OCP guidelines. Ensure a high standard of patient care and customer service is upheld at all times.

Qualifications:

Licensed and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists. Previous experience in a management or leadership role in a community pharmacy setting is strongly preferred. Strong understanding of provincial regulations and responsibilities of a Designated Manager. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Commitment to patient-centered care and professional integrity.
