Company Description
Fortune Creek IDA Pharmacy is independently owned and operated and proudly serves Armstrong and the surrounding area. Our goal is to provide our patients with all their pharmacy needs including in-house Compounding, Compliance Pill Packaging, Home Health Care and Medical Supplies.
Our company culture is one that promotes a positive work environment and work-life balance. This pharmacy is open 9 - 6 during the week, 9-5:30 on Saturday, and 10-4 on Sundays. The staff is made up of multiple assistants, including part-time registered techs, PCCA-trained compounding staff, and a lead assistant with over 25 years of experience and advanced diabetes training.
Our part-time pharmacists at this store have served the Armstrong community for decades and know the patients, local doctors, and care facility staff well.
We DO NOT impose any quotas for clinical services upon our pharmacists.

As the Pharmacy Manager you will be responsible for all the day to day operations of the pharmacy including being in compliance with all bylaws of the College of Pharmacists of B.C. The Pharmacy Manager will also be responsible for the following:
Direct supervision of the pharmacy staff.
Responsible for managing the performance of the pharmacy staff.
Accountable for the day to day operations and profitability of the pharmacy.
Completing medication reviews, vaccines administration and other clinical services when appropriate.
Working with the management team to identify strategies in maintaining the current business operations and identifying opportunities for growth.
Managing adequate inventory levels.
Preparation of reports for the management team.
The successful candidate will have:
A license to be a practicing pharmacist in the province of British Columbia.
Management skills and the ability to motivate others.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Good organizational skills and the ability to multi task.
Previous management experience is an asset.
Ability to build a business using community based marketing strategies
