Adecco is currently hiring a full-time reliable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Clerk to join our client's team in Scarborough, ON. In this role you will be responsible for accurately performing administrative duties including processing statements and payments, filing/scanning of prescription records, ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, triaging phone calls, assisting with reporting and arranging courier shipments. In addition, the Pharmacy Clerk will assist with picking and packing of medications/compounded products, receiving stock, general pharmacy maintenance/cleaning, and occasional deliveries..

Pay Rate: $
Location: Markham, ON
Shift: 8:00am - 4:00pm | Monday - Friday
Job type: Temporary | Full-Time | 6-month contract

Responsibilities:
Accurately perform administrative duties including processing statements and payments
File and scan prescription records in compliance with regulatory standards
Order and maintain pharmacy supplies and inventory
Triage phone calls and direct inquiries to appropriate personnel
Assist with internal reporting and arrange courier shipments
Pick and pack medications and compounded products for delivery or customer pick-up
Receive and verify incoming stock
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy, including general maintenance tasks
Perform occasional local deliveries as needed
Support pharmacists and technicians with additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous pharmacy clerk or assistant experience required
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment
Comfortable lifting up to 30 lbs as part of daily responsibilities
Basic computer skills and experience with inventory software preferred
Valid driver's license may be required for delivery duties
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
